A Solution:

The new Strong Workforce Program is a comprehensive effort to fuel upward mobility & regional economies by aligning regional workforce needs, employers, and labor market data with community colleges in order to train more Californians to succeed in a competitive workforce.

The Problem:

California faces a need for 1 million more bachelor's degree grads & 1 million more middle-skill workers over the next 10 years but the state's economic regions, industry clusters & education institutions have a long way to go to achieve an integrated & efficient system that serves students & employers.
