While California has been adding more jobs than any other state in recent months, there are still a lot of issues to resolve before the state’s economy could be called healthy. People are paying more attention to the growing economic disparities in the state.

That’s why continuing the work of the California Economic Summit is so critical now. With nearly two year’s of work under their belts, the hundreds of Californians working on the process are gaining momentum and believe they are on the right track. Regional leaders are working to spur economic innovation and growth.

During the second annual Summit, Action Teams identified concrete actions for success. These actions will advance the state’s triple bottom line: a prosperous economy, a sustainable environment and community equity.

Action Teams for the California Economic Summit have been working hard on seven signature initiatives—working landscapes, housing, infrastructure, capital, workforce, regulations and advancing manufacturing.
