VIDEO: Summit brings together California leaders in divisive times

The 2018 California Economic Summit was the first Summit to take place outside of a major metro area but the event drew hundreds, including legislators, public officials, and private-sector leaders, to Santa Rosa just a few weeks ago.

In a post-Summit survey of attendees, more than 94 percent agreed the Summit is focused on the right set of priorities for sustainable prosperity and more than 85 percent said that they plan to continue participating actively in Summit-related activities.

We also gathered thoughts about the Summit from a variety of leaders and its year-round efforts to promote shared prosperity in every region and we've included some of them in our latest video above.

The 2018 Summit was not just about speakers and networking: Action plans from working sessions are being developed for inclusion in the 2019 Roadmap to Shared Prosperity which will advance initiatives in the coming year.

As the work continues, you can check out all of our pre- and post-Summit coverage here.
