Bigger than the economies of all but seven nations, California is really a tapestry of regional economies, each with its own assets, history and character. The high-tech economy of the Silicon Valley, the agribusiness economy of the San Joaquin Valley, the multi-media economy of Los Angeles and the biotech industry of San Diego could not be more different from each other..."
