For too long the California Dream has not included equal opportunity for everyone. 

The California Dream Index tracks progress toward a more equitable California where all can prosper. Measuring 10 trackable indicators for economic mobility, security and inclusion through one powerful platform, data can be analyzed by race and ethnicity, region, and county, providing the ability to do “apples to apples” regional comparisons across the state.  

If we are to achieve a truly equitable California, we must be accountable. The California Dream Index will help hold policymakers, decision-makers, and ourselves accountable for progress.
